土方巽が死して四半世紀。早いものです。
この間、舞踏は、舞踏家は、舞踏をめぐる状況は、そして土方巽はどうであったのでしょうか。
舞踏の歴史も50年を超え、大野一雄もついに土方巽のもとへと去って行きました。
舞踏に関心を寄せる多くの人は、舞踏の行く末を気にしているのではないでしょうか。
土方巽の命日とはいえ、追悼の催しではありません。とにかく、土方巽をめぐって、いや舞踏をめぐって、話し、語り合い、討論、討議すること。そうして、2011年の舞踏の状況を切り開いていきたいと考えています。
長時間の場を設けてあります。可能な時間にお運びください。

This year is the 25th anniversary of Hijikata Tatsumi’s death.
During this 25 years, have Butoh, Butoh dancers, the situation around Butoh, and Hijikata Tatsumi changed, or not?
It’s now over 50 years from the first performance of Butoh, and last summer Ono Kazuo left us.
Possibly, many people who are interested in Butoh are now thinking over the future of Butoh.
This is not a memorial event. This is a place to speak, talk, discuss over Hijikata Tatsumi and Butoh, working out the situation of Butoh 2011.
This event is open for a long time. Please visit at your convenient time.
